The third 30 selections released on Edison's new format, the Blue Amberol cylinder. These cylinders were released between November 1912 and February 1913. Selections are by popular artists of the day and run the gamut from vocal chorus to comedy. All of the transfers are done from the best copies of these cylinders to archival quality standards and expertly restored. This volume includes a bonus track: An issue of the extremely popular "Uncle Josh Buys an Automobile" that was dubbed from another cylinder. Listen for the mistake recorded onto the dubbed take as the original cylinder skipped during the recording process--and Edison's engineers either didn't notice the error or didn't bother to start the dub again.
